WE BELIEVE

THE SCRIPTURES

The foundation upon which all our views stand, is the word of God, The Holy Scriptures collectively known as the Bible. We believe and act on the word of God. The Word of God is our final authority. We believe the Bible is the revelation of God; the Holy Spirit to all mankind. Those who do not have the Spirit will not understand the Bible. This holy book points in every way to Jesus Christ the author and finisher of our faith, and the beginning and end of all things. Anyone that reads this book can gain knowledge but only the Holy Spirit can impart the wisdom of God from the Bible. The Bible is a historical/spiritual book inspired by God himself and written down in such a way as to allow for the free will of man to accomplish what God wanted to say, without over-riding said will. The Bible should always be read in a prayerful and expectant manner, and if the Holy Spirit does not enlighten the readers mind and heart, it will do little good. If one wishes to read God’s word, then the Holy Spirit must drip His fire on its pages. Unless the Spirit that inspired the Bible breathes fresh wind into its pages as we read, it will simply be history we are reading. This book becomes the word of God as the Spirit reveals it as such, this happens on a reader-by-reader and case-by-case basis. One should not simply expect to be reading God’s word simply because they are reading the Bible. Without the Spirit present and moving the Bible is just a history book. (2 Timothy 3:16 NIV) (1 Thessalonians 2:13 ESV) (2 Peter 1:21 NIV) (James 1:22 ESV) (Romans 12:1-2 ESV)

THE GODHEAD (THE TRINITY)

God eternally exists as the perfect unity of love consisting Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1,26; Matthew 28:19; John 1:1,2; 4:24; Acts 5:3,4; Romans 1:20; Ephesians 4:5-6; 2 Corinthians 13:14). These are three distinct persons, and yet one Being. All are equal in authority and power. All deserve our worship and praise, and prayers. (John 14:28 NIV) (John 16:28 NIV) (John 1:14 NLT) (John 1:1 NIV) (John 1:18 NLT) (John 15:26 ESV)

I. GOD, THE FATHER

\We believe according to the Scriptures that He is our Abba (Father), the Alpha and the Omega. That He desires that through His Son, all men would be saved and come into His Kingdom. This is seen clearly in the covenants made to characters such as Adam, Abraham and David---and finds its ultimate fulfillment in the new covenant with the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

II. GOD , THE SON (JESUS)

Through the power of the Holy Spirit, Mary conceived and bore a Son whom she named Jesus, who is the Christ (Christos meaning "the anointed one."), the Savior sent to redeem us from the law. Jesus' life personified righteousness. He walked upright in perfection before God, and glorified God in every way. Jesus, the Lamb of God, bore our sin, sickness, and all that we suffer due to the fall, was crucified on a cross; three days later rose from the grave conquering sin and death to the glory of God. Jesus now sits enthroned at the right hand of God the Father.

III. GOD, THE HOLY SPIRIT

He is our source who dwells in those that are believers to edify, exhort, and comfort. The Holy Spirit continually draws believers closer to God, transforming them into the image of Jesus Christ, empowering them for ministry, and distributing spiritual gifts to the Church. Believers are to always seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit. (John 16:5-15 ESV) (Romans 8:16 NLT) (Romans 8:23 NLT) (Romans 8:26-27 NIV) (1 Corinthians 12:1-31)

SALVATION

We believe that mankind is fallen and sinful and must be redeemed. God the Father accomplished this when He sent Jesus Christ, empowered by the Holy Spirit into the world to seek and save the lost. God has made salvation available to all those that will choose Him and accept Christ’s sacrifice on their behalf. We believe that salvation entails total surrender in every area of our lives to the control of Jesus Christ as our Lord and Master. This process is accomplished as we allow ourselves to be transformed by the Holy Spirit, Who uses the word of God to transform us into the image of the Son of God. This entire process is from first to last about a relationship with the Holy Trinity and is in no way about following rules or religious regulations. (Romans 3:10) (Romans 3:23) (1 John 3:8) (Ephesians 2:8)

SIGNS, WONDERS, & MIRACLES

We believe we can do in the Earth today exactly as Jesus did and greater because He says He has delegated to believers who know Him His love, authority, and power to demonstrate His Kingdom. A few examples of what He is known for doing through believers are expelling demons out of the demonized, setting the captives free (from their mental, emotional, and physical) pains and traumas. Through relationship, Jesus will publicly and privately mend broken limbs, causes body parts grow back that weren’t there before, raises the dead (human, animal, anything alive), We see these signs confirm His will and His ways discovered in His word, and this opens up hearts to hear the Gospel preached to give the same invitation, to know Jesus. Signs, wonders, and miracles always point to Jesus.

(Mark 16:17-18 ESV) (1 Corinthians 2:4 KJV) (1 Corinthians 4:20 ESV)

ETERNAL LIFE

After death, eternal life begins either in heaven or hell. We have been given the opportunity to choose life or death. This choice of where you spend eternity is based on your decision to make Jesus Christ Lord and Savior of your life. When the Rapture occurs, the dead in Christ will rise, and then those who are alive and remain (those who have accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior) will go up (be taken) to meet Him.

(Mark 16:16 ESV) (Hebrews 9:27 NIV) (Revelation 19:20 NLT)

TITHES

"The tithe is what bring to the Lord after our harvest. In other words, after we get paid, our finances come in, investments mature, houses sell, etc., we bring a tenth of that income to the Lord. We honor the Lord and Jesus as our our High Priest after the Order of Melchizedek." - Robert Henderson

Tithes should be freely given to your attending church. The attending church is the place of where God has called you to receive His Word on a regular basis and to progressively mature in every area of your life. “The tithe is motivated out of obedience. The tithe is the way for recession or depression to bypass you. Why? Because we live under an open-windowed heaven. …Tithing holds God to His promise to rebuke the devourer for our sakes. “We’d rather have 90% of our income blessed than 100% of it cursed! …” (“…” paraphrased) - Dr. Jesse Duplantis

(Malachi 3:10-12 ESV) (Genesis 1:28 ESV)

FIRST FRUITS

“First fruits are what we bring before our harvest. We can see clearly that First Fruits and tithes are two distinct offerings..." - Robert Henderson

(Numbers 18:12 ESV) (Nehemiah 10 ESV) (Numbers 18:21 ESV) (Hebrews 3:1 ESV)

"This means First Fruits and the tithe were two separate offerings because they went to two separate groups of people. ...The High Priest in the Old Testament is a shadow of the apostle in the New."
- Robert Henderson

The first fruits is motivated out of generosity. … The first fruits show God your gratitude for the extra blessing that He has bestowed upon you. This giving gives the option of giving to God or to man. You can give it to the church or to the minister, if you desire. The Lord lets you make that decision. First fruits shows God that you’re not in love with money, and that’s why He trusts you with it. First fruits is an expression of your love for His word. (“…” paraphrased) - Dr. Jesse Duplantis

(Proverbs 3:9-10 ESV) (Romans 11:16 NIV)

ALMS

Alms giving is motivated out of compassion. It is given to man. “Don’t let the left hand know what the right hand is giving.” That’s only done on alms giving. That’s not done on tithing, and that’s not done on first fruits. You can tell everybody you’re a tither and a first fruits giver, but with alms, you don’t. Alms are given in secrecy to protect people’s dignity in crisis. The rate of return on alms is reimbursement.” (“…” paraphrased) - Dr. Jesse Duplantis

(Matthew 6:1 KJV) (Proverbs 19:17 ESV)

SEED

“Seed giving motivation is faith and reward. Seed or offering giving is the only way the 30, 60, or 100-fold harvest is received. The seed is the surest way to stop poverty in your life. The seed is the quickest way for total debt cancellation. The seed must be put into fertile soil for it to accomplish the impossible in life. It’s not the amount of seed, it’s the soil that you sow it in. … Beware that other people try not to make you their source!” (“…” paraphrased) - Dr. Jesse Duplantis

(Mark 4:14-20 ESV) (Matthew 4:* ESV) (Luke 6:38 NIV) (Deuteronomy 1:11 NIV) (Ephesians 3:20 ESV)
